Lee Bullock joined Hartlepool United In the summer of 2005 after being released by Championship side Cardiff City. Bullock plays in Midfield but has been used as an emergency striker on occasion.

Bullock started his career at York City where he spent 6 years and attracted admirers from higher leagues after scoring 24 times in 174 games at KitKat Crescent. He joined Cardiff in early 2004 on loan before the move was made permenant in the summer. In his first season he played 21 times and scored 3 times but was released at the end of the season.

Martin Scott brought Bullock to Pools but he failed to help the team avoid relegation to League Two in his first season, he started 24 games and featured as a sub in a further 10 that season and found the back of the net on 4 occasions. Danny Wilson handed Bullock a new contract in the summer of 2007 after he played in 33 games in Pools promotion season.

He did not feature in any of Pools games in the 2007/08 season and was loaned to Bury, he returned to Victoria Park but soon found himself out on loan again, this time to Bradford. The spell at Valley Parade was made permanent in January 2008.

"Lee is a player who has been in and out of the side and always does a job but never gets a significant run in the team because he fails to get stuck in enough and has little pace, he is a tall player and his greatest scoring threat is from set pieces."
