Tralee, Republic of Ireland
Republic of Ireland U21
Hartlepool made their move for the former Brentford man in early July. After an initial bid was rejected by Cork a deal was agreed and Behan signed on the dotted line on the 20th July 2009.
He was released by Brentford in 2002 and joined Cork where he played for seven years and built up a fan base with the Irish fans. He scored his first senior hat-trick in September 2007 and holds the record for the most goals in the history of the Setanta Cup.
He once partnered Kevin Doyle and will be hoping to produce the same level of productive finishing that has seen Doyle become one of the most feared strikers in the English game.
The former Republic of Ireland U21 player is strong in the air, has a fierce ability to fend off defenders and a wicked free kick.
