Barnsley, Crystal Palace, Gillingham (loan), Brighton & Hove Albion (loan), Yeovil Town (loan), Blackpool (loan), Falkirk (loan)
Scott Flinders began his career at Barnsley as a youngster and made appearances for England at youth levels before moving on to Crystal Palace in the summer of 2006.
Flinders made just one Carling Cup appearance before being sent out on loan to Gillingham. He started 9 games for the Gills before returning to Selhurst Park. He made his league début for the Eagles but a series of mistakes meant he was soon out of the team and a loan spell at Brighton followed in early 2007.
At the start of the 07/08 season he was given a final chance to impress at Palace but a more mistakes saw him farmed out to Yeovil, Blackpool and Falkirk before being released in the summer of 2009. He signed a contract at Pools and soon established himself as Chris Turner's first choice keeper, playing every game in his first season.
Flinders started his second campaign in a similar fashion until an injury in early September ruled him out until the New Year. However he returned in style and even grabbed his first ever career goal in the final home game of the season, heading home a late equaliser against Bournemouth.
