Joe Skarz is a left back, who can also play left wing, and plays Huddersfield Town. After impressing in reserve matches he made his debut for the Terriers in their 1-1 draw against Scunthorpe United on November 4th 2006.

Following Skarz performances for the first team, Peter Jackson was so impressed by the youngster he claimed Skarz would be his first choice full back.

Skarz has only ever scored one goal for the Galpharm Stadium outfit, against arch rivals Leeds United in the 2-1 win for Huddersfield.

However after suffering an injury, Robbie Williams stepped up to replace Skarz and his impressive displays has kept Skarz out of Lee Clark's plans. So Skarz teamed up with Pools in march this year in a bid to help Pools stay up and get first team games under his belt.
