The fortunes couldn't be more contrasting, Hartlepool are heading out of the Football League into an 'uncertain future' whereas Burton are heading into a positive future with League 1 football awaiting them!

Both scenarios moved steps closer on Saturday when Burton secured a last minute winner at the Vic to condemn us to our latest defeat, when we lost one-nil.

Ultimately a draw, which looked on, wouldn't really have been enough but is better than defeat! The manor of this late defeat could prove the final nail in our coffin though?

Harewood went closest to a goal for us, twice in fact but with the breakthrough not coming a goalless draw seemed on until Burton sub, and Sheffield United loanee signing this week, Cuvelier (90) grabbed the winner to make it four defeats in five for us and move us closer to the Vanarama!
