Report: Hartlepool Take A Hammering At Oldham

Hartlepool United's poor run of form continued with a heavy defeat at the hands of Oldham

A disappointing performance at Boundary Park saw Hartlepool slip to a defeat against promotion chasing Oldham.

Pools got off to the worst possible start as Aidan White gave the home side the lead after just 7 minutes. A half time team talk did Pools no good as Chris Taylor doubled the score just after the break.

A long range effort from the Latics on loan defender Cedric Evina made it 3 before the rout was completed with Reuben Reid grabbing a fourth in injury time.
