Absolutely brilliant stuff, I though it might quieten down a bit today but it could be our biggest day yet.

I am enjoying being part of the 'smug already got my ticket so don't have to queue' elite.

Day 52 - only 4 sales days left & the overall picture is considerably brighter than this time last week when we were at our furthest behind the daily target to get towards 4,000 that we'd ever been.

3781 tickets sold, 277 of them today - easily outstripping the previous best sales day (Saturday)'s 186.

After 93% of sales days we are:
* 94.5% of the way to 4000.
We're ahead of the daily target towards 4000 for the first time since sales day 29 (14th June).
We only need 219 more sales (less than achieved today) in the last 4 days to get to 4000.

Average sales per day = 72.7 so far.

The average number of sales needed per day from now on is:
* 55 to get to 4000 sales

This is how the current sales total compares to the targets for today:
* 3000 & 3500 targets have already been passed
* 2% ahead of target for 4000 sales (3714)

If sales are maintained at this rate overall, the total number of season ticket sales will be 4,072.
[This figure may prove to be an underestimate if the amazingly high sales rates of the last 4 days continue.]

If sales are maintained at today's rate, the total number of season ticket sales will be 4,889.
[This measure is very volatile - subject to daily fluctuations. Surely it's not possible to sustain today's sales rate? Surely?]

If sales are maintained at the last week's rate, the total number of season ticket sales will be 4,419.
[This measure focuses on recent sales rates in a more smooth/balanced way than the "today's rate" figure.]
