Alright lads (n lasses if there are any signed up!!)

Just signed up today after getting back from the jollies (Marbella, can't go wrong like), a few weeks after discovering the site. If the name rings a bell, I'm a very VERY distant 24 year-old relative of the clan that have turned the Pool into toytown with the idenikit 4 bed houses. Well happy with big godwin getting signed up for the term, looked a big deal when he played against us for Stanley last season (bet the lads have thanked him for the penna!). Not livin in the north-east any more, over in Manchester for the last 6 years so hopefully there'll be a couple of away games we can all get involved in!

Up the pools

Yuilly

Good to have you on board Yuilly, plenty of games near you next year. Tranmere, Oldham and Huddersfield aren't that far.

I hope you join in the chat here regularly

At least we don't have to go to Hull. Jesus Christ, I've been sent over there with work as of today surveying the floods (commuting tomora) until the end of next week (hotel). No wonder Duffy wanted out, n Swansea aint too grand a place. Remeber there's always Leeds just down the road from me....... if they're still in existence. Bless 'em. I'll be a regular contributor, may write a few reports if i get chance to get to the away games mentioned. Plus my old man will be at the Vic n always on the phone every 10 mmins whinging about Radio Cleveland and Ivan 'Mr. Charisma' Nash's commentary.

Prediction League Champion 10/11
50010010010050
Hi
Have been reading this site since it started, having previously read Rivals. Finally registered to join in prediction league, but hope to participate generally now I'm finally here.

I haven't lived in the North East since I was three, but I first dragged my father to see Hartlepool play (at Millwall) when Ambrose Fogarty was in the team. I have not been to a Home game since I was married (not that I'm hen-pecked or anything) but try to get to away games that aren't too far from my home in rural Lincolnshire. I was at Scunthorpe on Tuesday, but the only League game I can reasonably hope to see this season will be at Doncaster.

Still reading this site helps me feel in touch.

Ey up, I'm an owl and I come in peace!

Good match tonight lads, hope you don't feel too downhearted, you did take us to extra time after all!

Which reminds me of a certain other match a couple of season ago... :P That's the last of it, I promise!

Hi NicNac, good to have you on board.

I'm glad to hear we did alright last night, sounded like Budtz had a great game.

Anyway it looks like we'll be passing you next season when we go up :p

Budtz was fantastic. What is it with you and being able to get good keepers in? I'm not even going to attempt to spell the Greek's name! :)

Morning Boys, just need a bit of advice if there's any going. With the mighty Southend crushing Oxford last night our fixture in January will now be moved to Midweek. Mrs Bates and myself wil be looking to make the trek up North for the rearranged fixture and will be staying overnight. Can anyone tell me please, what is the name of the the place by the marina, is it a travel lodge or travel inn or something else? We stayed there once before but I can't find it in any directory nor remember what it was called.
Many Thanks

I'm pretty sure the one you're talking about is the PremierInn, the website is here: http://www.premierinn.com/pti/home.do

Hope this helps, enjoy your trip to the home of football :tt:
