Looks like we are going to sell off our only assets until the [tax] bills are paid. Now that the January sale is in full swing it's getting a bit worrying as to where it will end.

Featherstone, according to sky sports, is firmly in the shop window. Who will be next, more importantly what will we look like after the sale. It appears Coxall is attempting to turn us into a selling club, buying cheap/young and selling on.

Only issue is these younger players aren't getting the opportunities in the first team, of course that might change after the bills are paid and they are the first team.
If we are to become a selling brand let's hope it's more upmarket and less a pools Poundland.

Featherstone would be a massive loss in my opinion. Gets criticism from our fans but that's because he's the only one who wants the ball when others are in trouble. Could be a really top player in a good side which presumably why bigger teams are looking at him.

In times gone by when Pools were in dire financial need other clubs assisted our cause by buying a player who they probably had little need for - remember Tony Parry to Derby or Kevin Dixon to Scunthorpe?

Whilst I'm not one of Featherstone's detractors, neither a fan, perhaps his moving on might be beneficial both financially and play wise. Bringing in a Tishbola type, on loan, would add bite and energy to the midfield.
