They will want their money back from the game at their place. Think it will be a decent game, close probably 2-1 to either side. Bogle will score so we'll have to score 2. Amond will get one of them.

A game of two strikers, depends which one wants it most.

A close game with the Mariners likely to be too good for us. Remember we just about scraped past Morcambe who are nowhere as good as Grimsby. Probs 0-2 .

If the aim for the season is safety then a point today would be a good result. Would put us on 28 points, only 22 more would be needed between now and May.

With 18 in 21 Bogle is either excellent in himself or the supply chain is very good. As others have yet to manage a handful, there is probably a decent supply.
Goes without saying keep Bogle quiet and cut out the supply we're in with a good chance. Looking forward to it as it should be a decent spectacle.

Really don't know what to say. Neither team will be challenging for an automatic spot anytime soon and both would be really pressed to make the playoffs in a similar time scale. We really are just lumbering through, no settled formation, no settled personnel.
One player does one thing in a previous game and gets to start the next game, it really is schoolboy football at the minute. Frightened of the opposition, frightened of the ball, frightened to shoot. We're playing with an unhealthy fear and it's not easing any.

Mind today we were playing 11 against 13. Absolute worse display by an 'assistant referee' [millhouse side] and referee I have ever witnessed. Four blatant handball incidents, two easily penalty shouts.

They were no great shakes and were there for the taking however there are nine points ahead of us now. We'll be reliant on two teams being worse than us for another season come May.

As I said In another thread I missed the Morecambe game, how did Grimsby today compare?

Have a look at the highlights on poolsworld, shows two of four blatant handball incidents, two of which were in Grimsby's penalty area, only one was shown.

One in front of the assistant referee, with the player actually controlling the bounce of the ball in the box with his hand. The second in our box with the attacking player taking the ball on his chest and making sure it stays there with the aid of his arms, leading to an attempt on goal.

Absolutely shocking decisions, both in clear sight of the assistant referees, If Hignett has cause for complaint this is definitely it.
