Think there is probably a 50-50 split on who wants a change in management, certain it's a 99-1 split on those who just want change, the 1 being RM.

Personally I would leave him in charge, but his stubborness has to change. If his reported response to the crowd on Saturday was that we have no left back at the club he's correct. He is willing to play a centre half at right back, why won't he play a centre half at left back too? He stubbornly plays Carroll, when he has Jones available, who at least is a defender.

He needs a visit from Cloughie on Christmas eve followed by three more as the night passes. Each offering visions of a successful season past [not long passed, his past] a look at the current one, and a look at how the immediate future may pan out, without change.

We're not far away from where we need to be, but there are [onfield] obstacles in the way and if RM fails to see these obstacles he just becomes one. It needs tweaking that's all.

There may be 20 odd games to go, but I dont want to watch them from behind hands clasped over eyes. There are only two teams not showing improvement us and Daggers, they have just sacked their manager. York's win on Saturday probably puts us bottom of the current form table with 3pts from 6 games, York's 3pts being more recent showing signs of improvement. Others below us have more pts from draws, in the last six, we seem to succeed in turning potential draws into losses.

We are in a tailspin and have been since the fourth or fifth game of the season but we're doing nothing to get us out of it other than fiddling* while Rome burns.
