- nostalgic cries of 'there's only one Tommy Miller' ringing round the Vic as he scoops his pen over the top, after giving me a conspiatorial wink
- a lovely day
- a splendid performance, much as I had predicted from the pre-season
- meeting prodical and seeing his cheery smile

only 'fly in the ointment' is that me and Mrs B. are off to Vietnam for 3 weeks and I won't be able to benefit from the sagacity, erudition and thoughtful wisdom from smokin and ernie..... still, never mind, you can't have everything!
