Hartlepool Reserves Destroy Darlo

Hartlepool United Reserves outclassed their Darlington counterparts with a convincing win at Bedford Terrace.

Pools second string took the through a Michael Mackay's powerful drive and never looked back. The lead was doubled when transfer listed midfielder Antony Sweeney slotted home a Stephen Turnbull cross.

The Quakers pulled one back but late goals from Mackay and David Foley sealed a routine victory for Ian Butterworth's side.
