Austin Extends Vic Stay

Neil Austin's spell at the Vic has been extended further after the defender signed a new contract a couple of days ago.

He'll be back for another pre-season shortly with him telling the official website that he's looking forward to next season but also can't believe that he's been with the club for as long as he had as it just seems like yesterday that he signed.

'I'm delighted to sign a new contract; it's nice to get pen to paper and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

'It doesn't seem like two minutes since I signed for the club and I wasn't sure I would be here for five years so I'm buzzing now and I just want to get flying now in time for pre-season.'

Austin is another good player to retain and I'm glad he's staying with us.

With the exception of a few that were released, and one two I think that haven't yet signed contracts offered, we're looking like we'll have basically the squad we did last season, which then asks the question can they do better next season than they did in the last?

This site is looking for bloggers, so if a fan can offer us a genuine opinion from someone that supports them we would love to share it with the masses!
