Steve Howard Joins Sheff Wed On Loan

Hartlepool United striker Steve Howard has left the club to join Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.

The much maligned striker will link up with the Championship side until the end of the season.

Despite featuring in 36 games for Hartlepool the striker has returned just three goals, all against the Owls' city rivals Sheffield United.

Wednesday, promoted from League One last season, are currently in a relegation battle at the bottom end of the Championship.
