Adam Boyd Abandons Celtic Nation After 3 Months
Former Hartlepool United striker has sensationally quit Northern League outfit Celtic Nation after less than three months with the club.
Boyd was released by Pools in the summer and made a surprise move to the free-spending Cumbrians at the start of July. However, his stay with the Gillford Park side has now reached an abrupt conclusion.
Neither the player or club would disclose the reasons for Boyd's departure from the club.
Boyd had featured in each of the club's Northern League fixtures this season and grabbed his first and only goal for the club in an FA Cup clash with Dunston in August.
Celtic Nation's joint manager Steve Skinner told the News and Star: ''It was a mutual decision from both parties. It's a decision that's been made and that's it really.''
