Cooper Wants 2 New Players Before Window Closes

Hartlepool United boss Neale Cooper has his sights on bringing two new players to the club before the transfer window closes.

The transfer window closes on Friday and Cooper is eager to bolster his squad before Saturday's clash with Scunthorpe.

''I still think we need a couple of players and this free week gives me a chance to focus on that.

''I think we need more quality in attack and that is where we'll hopefully strengthen.''
he told the Mail.

Cooper is known to retain an interest in Sunderland's Ryan Noble, while a move for another midfielder could also be on the cards.

While the loan window opens seven days after the close of the transfer window, Cooper is eager to strengthen his squad as soon as possible.

Cant see it happening, all talk, we will get we tried but nothing was happening, but there is no rush as loan and none contract window opens in two weeks.

Might I suggest a new defender might be an idea as well to keep the ones we have on their toes and stop them getting complacent? Just a thought like.
