Colin Larkin Back At Hartlepool

Former Hartlepool United striker Colin Larkin is back training with his former team-mates as he seeks a contract for next season.

Larkin was released by boss Neale Cooper in May but has been training with the club and featured in a reserve team side that beat Consett on Saturday.

The former Chesterfield and Northampton forward is said to be attracting interest from League Two side Cheltenham Town.

Signed by Chris Turner in the summer of 2009, Larkin spent three years at Victoria Park, scoring four goals in 63 appearances, but struggled with injury during the 2011/12 campaign.
