Fans Urged To Attend Mill House Area Meeting
Hartlepool United fans are being urged to attend the latest meeting of the Mill House Area Action Group tonight.
The group will meet in the Centenary Suite at Victoria Park from 7pm this evening with supporters of the Mill House Masterplan urged to attend.
The group brings together local residents, businesses and sports fans are eager to see the redevelopment of the Mill House Leisure Centre, Victoria Park and the surrounding areas.
Former Pools star John McGovern has been appointed Honorary President of the group and told the official website he was behind the campaign.
''I've seen the Masterplan for regeneration for the Mill House area and it looks fantastic for the residents, and for the town in general.
''The ground switch with the Council and the owners IOR is a major part of the plan and I would urge the Council to support the great work that has been achieved over recent years.''
The meeting begins at 7pm with fans also being given the opportunity to take a tour of the educational and training facilities at Victoria Park from 6.15pm.
