Adam Boyd Set To Seal Move To Northern League Side
Vital Hartlepool First
Former Hartlepool United striker Adam Boyd is set to move to non-league side Celtic Nation FC.
Boyd was released in May after a three-year stint at Victoria Park and had been attracting interest from a number of clubs.
The former Luton forward had issued a come and get me plea to Conference side Gateshead but now looks set to sign for Northern League outfit Celtic Nation after they made a big money offer for his services.
It is thought Gateshead have also offered a contract to the player, a deal which would potentially reunite him with former Pools pair Ben Clark and James Brown, but Celtic Nation have beaten the Tynesiders to his signature.
Based in Carlisle, Celtic Nation were promoted to the Northern League first division last season under their previous name of Gillford Park.
