Crewe Cup Date Switch Sees York Friendly Cancelled
Hartlepool United's trip to Crewe in the Capital One Cup has been arranged for Saturday 11th August.
The switch means Pools' friendly fixture with York City, which had been provisionally scheduled for that date, will no longer take place on that day.
Officials from Crewe and Hartlepool had been in discussions since the draw last week and have taken the decision to move the match from midweek to Saturday to allow more fans to attend.
