Newcastle Bid For Hartlepool Starlet Luke James
Newcastle United have reportedly placed a bid for Hartlepool United's teen sensation Luke James.
Sky Sports reports that Alan Pardew's men have formally declared their interest in the 17-year-old and have already placed a bid for his services.
Celtic and Bolton are also said to be interested in the youngster who burst into Pools' first team midway through last season and made headlines with a series of impressive performances.
All three clubs are thought to have watched the youngster in action, with the Tyneside giants currently leading the race for his signature.
