Vital Hartlepool Awards 2012: Best Signing
It's time to reveal winner from this year's Vital Hartlepool Awards, and today we're looking at our best signing.
Pools made a number of permanent and loan transfers over the season, with eight players making the switch to Victoria Park during 2011/12.
The clear winner, with 61% of the vote, is Jack Baldwin. The young defender was plucked from non-league obscurity by Mick Wadsworth last summer but excelled when given a chance in the first tea.
James Poole comes a distant second with Ryan Noble and Colin Nish even further behind. Nathan Luscombe did not receive a single vote.
