Cooper Rallies Players Ahead Of Final Home Game

Hartlepool United manager Neale Cooper has rallied his players ahead of the final home game of the season, asking them to end the season on a high note.

Cooper's side haven't won in their last six home games, and he admitted the team's home form has not been acceptable.

''It's not been good enough at home this season. We need to finish on a high note - that's important for us and the supporters.

''It's important to sell tickets ahead of next year, but I feel for the supporters this season.''
he told the Mail.

With Leyton Orient still needing a win to ensure League One survival, Cooper said that his team would face a difficult task at Victoria Park tomorrow.

''The effort will be there tomorrow, but we also want to play some good stuff. To get a win with a good performance would be huge for everyone.

''We can't hide the fact it hasn't been good enough and if we'd won half the games we should have done then we'd be up there challenging.''
