Cooper Hopes Sunderland Loanee Noble Can Find Form
Hartlepool United manager Neale Cooper says he's looking for Sunderland loanee Ryan Noble to break his poor run of goalscoring form in the final games of the season.
Saturday's blank against Tranmere meant it is now five games without a goal for the striker, with his strike at Yeovil the only time he has found the net in Pools' colours.
Cooper, who signed the player on loan from Sunderland in March, said he was finding it difficult at present. ''It really hurts him and he beats himself up about it afterwards and he gets down. But he`s trying like a beast right now and it'll come for him, I'm sure.
''He's desperate to score all of the time and on Saturday he had very much hard lines. It's not going for him at the moment and I feel for him.
Noble's loan spell runs until the end of the season and Cooper has challenged the 19-year-old to find the net in his final two matches at the Victoria Park club.
''He's got a couple of games to get some goals and I'm sure he will, you can't put that amount of effort in and not get the rewards you deserve eventually.'' he told the Mail.
