Neale Cooper Targets Five New Players

Hartlepool United manager Neale Cooper says he's looking to bring in five new faces after his side's embarrassing home defeat to Chesterfield.

Cooper's side lost 2-1 to the relegation favourites on Saturday and the Scot was understandably unhappy with what he witnessed.

''When you go behind the pressure is on. You've got to have the mentality and bottle to deal with that. We had people looking for the ball when we were in front, but not when we were behind - you see a different side to the players and I'm still learning about them.''

Cooper added that he was looking to add four or five news faces to his squad this summer ''It all got a bit panicky towards the end and it was frustrating because we'd done so well for an hour.

''But this team needs four or five players to freshen things up - it's a bit stale at times. Hopefully come the summer I can do that''
he told the Mail.
