Darlington Line Up Move For Ben Clark
Defender Ben Clark has been linked with a move to rivals Darlington after his release from Hartlepool.
Clark leaves Victoria Park after 6 seasons with the club and is already interesting teams in both League One and Two.
However, if Consett-born Clark wants to stay in the North East then a move to Darlington could be ideal with Simon Davey expressing an interest in the player and Gateshead also keeping tabs.

Why is he too good for Conference... Maybe he isn't. I don't imagine any League 2 side taken him... He couldn't get a game for us and we finished 5th bottom.
he might be able to find a club in League 2. But if he is settled in the area then maybe he doesn't want to move and considers this his best/easiest option.
