Hartlepool To Face Mike Newell's Grimsby In JPT
The second round draw for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy has been made with Hartlepool being drawn against League Two side Grimsby Town.
Many Pools fans had hoped to be drawn against the old enemy Darlington, but there is still a sense of excitement surrounding the tie. Mike Newell will return to the Vic as manager of the Mariners.
The former Pools promotion-winning boss has already returned to the Vic with Luton Town, winning on both occasions. The game will be played the week commencing October 5th.
