Austin Completes Move To Pools

Darlington's right-back Neil Austin has completed his long-awaited move to Hartlepool United this afternoon.

Austin signed for Darlo in 2007 from Barnsley and he becomes Chris Turner's fourth signing of so far this summer. Vital Hartlepool revealed on Saturday that a deal was all but completed for the defender.

Austin will be joined by Michael Rose later in the week and another 2 players, of which at least one is expected to be foreign.

The signing means that Pools have surpassed the number of players Danny Wilson brought in last summer as the rebuilding under Chris Turner continues.
