Jeff talks about the FA Cup final, who Pools could sign and Daniel Nardiello.
If you're unfamiliar with the column then here's how it works; each Thursday Jeff will voice his opinion on the week's big talking points but you're the one who sets the agenda. Whether you want to ask him about a dodgy refereeing decision, a question about Hartlepool United or football in general, you can!
If you want to ask Jeff Winter anything, refereeing related or not, you can email vital.hartlepool@hotmail.co.uk with your question or leave an article comment and they'll be put to him in the next column.
Jeff, would you offer a contract to any of Pools loan players over the summer? Personally I think only Nardiello deserves a shot.
Paul
He certainly has the ability, but a questionable temperament. Most certainly though Pools need to freshen up the squad and rumours are of an approach for Adam Boyd.
After the Howard Webb shambles at Old Trafford last week, do you think referees favour the 'big clubs'?
Adam
The decision was an honest decision nothing to do with favouring the big clubs. You may like to look at the articles 'P**sing against the wind' that appear on my website jeffwinter.co.uk that cover this subject in great detail.
What do you think of the FA giving Everton and Chelsea 25,000 tickets for the FA Cup final at the end of the month? It shows how the game has been spoiled when so many tickets are kept away from real fans.
Gav
It has always been the case with the FA cup final, in fact even at the old Wembley with a 100,000 capacity I believe that the clubs used to get even less.
Every registered club in the country is entitled to tickets. It's the FA's way of giving the 'Football family' the chance to get tickets.
I agree though each club should get more tickets.
Just a reminder that tonight I will be presenting a two hour long programme on Radio Hartlepool from 7-9PM, my studio guest will be Joel Porter and the programme will be a tribute to the popular Aussie who has announced that he is leaving the club to return home to Australia at the end of the season.
It will be a phone in show so the fans will get their chances to question him about everything Hartlepool.
Each week Jeff predicts the scores off Pools next match and you can try and beat him. To compete against Jeff and fellow Poolies by predicting the score of Pools next match and the first goalscorer.
