Brighton Boss Blames Conditions For Defeat
Brighton and Hove Albion boss Micky Adams blamed the conditions after his side slumped to defeat against Hartlepool.
Adams said that his side were let down after some poor play ''We've been punished for one bit of sloppy defending in the first half.''
''In the second half we were chasing the game and trying to get a goal back, and I thought we played some decent football.''
He went on to tell the Brighton official site that his side could have came away with something after his substitutions had a positive impact ''We tried to change it a little bit in the second half because we needed to get people on the ball, and that's why we introduced Coxy and Kevin Thornton and I thought they did exactly what we asked of them.
''And but for a little bit of luck when we hit the bar and some good goalkeeping at times, we've been unlucky really to lose the game.''
