AFC Bournemouth Match Reaction

Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson was angry after his side lost against Bournemouth at Dean Court yesterday.

Wilson's men have now gone 11 matches without an away win and he told PoolsWorld that he was disappointed with the performance ''I'm sick of saying the same thing every week but we're hurting ourselves and giving away soft goals.''

''Today was another example where we're not ruthless enough in attack and then give the ball away sloppily and then pay the price.''

He admitted that his side didn't create enough clear cut chances and that the goals conceded were sloppy ''We got ourselves in good situations but once again we didn't work their goalkeeper nearly enough, which is really disappointing.''

''The first goal was just a routine cross into the box which we should be able to deal with and the second was a real killer blow right on half time and after we'd had a good period in the game.''

Bournemouth fans were less that complementary after the game. One Vital Bournemouth user said ''I thought Hartlepool were a very poor side who could go down.'' while another commented that Pools ''never looked like scoring.''
